This picture book is a bestseller because it inspires so many people with its message。 The story is about two siblings who run to their mother for comfort during a stormy night。 She explains to them that there is an Invisible String that connects them to her and to each other so that they are never alone。 That Invisible String is love and is strong enough to reach anyone anywhere, even after death。 Death is gently mentioned on one page only。 The illustrations in this book are lovely, with a sens This picture book is a bestseller because it inspires so many people with its message。 The story is about two siblings who run to their mother for comfort during a stormy night。 She explains to them that there is an Invisible String that connects them to her and to each other so that they are never alone。 That Invisible String is love and is strong enough to reach anyone anywhere, even after death。 Death is gently mentioned on one page only。 The illustrations in this book are lovely, with a sense of peace and joy of life - because of Love that Invisible String。 。。。more

The Invisible string is a story about a mom explaining to her children that an invisible string connects you to the people that you love。 I believe this book will be s great book to show children that no matter where their family members are they still love the。 I would recommend this book fir children between the ages of 3 to 7。

A very cute book about how we are connected。 I could see this being useful for kids having separation anxiety。

This truth that we are never alone and always loved is important to teach and I love the idea of invisible strings tying us together。 I think Taylor Swift would like this book, as her song invisible string communicates a similar idea。 No matter where you go there will always be invisible strings thing you to the people you love and who love you。

My 6-year-old loves this。 Honestly, I was a bit turned off when we received it as a gift。 I didn't love the language or the illustrations。。。 but then the pandemic happened。 The messages of connection - even when people are far away, dead, or angry at him - instantly comforted my son。 And he requests it as a bedtime book a lot。 Can't argue with that! Great book for kids!

Cute idea for kids who have separation anxiety, but the story itself is a rather boring list of examples of how people are connected by a metaphorical string。

We got this book as a Valentine's gift for my kids, and it made me feel so many emotions。 It's a very sweet book about how we stay tied to our loved ones even when we aren't in the same room or living in the same area。 We got this book as a Valentine's gift for my kids, and it made me feel so many emotions。 It's a very sweet book about how we stay tied to our loved ones even when we aren't in the same room or living in the same area。 。。。more

Lovely storyThis is a lovely story that helps children overcome separation anxiety。 Even though it's not specific to death and grief, it is highly recommended in this category。 I got the Kindle version and some of the words overlap one another。 Probably a formatting issue。 There are also pages with just text and no illustrations, which is fine but I was hoping for more bright and colourful illustrations throughout。 The story itself is simple and easy to read and relate to。 I guess I was hoping f Lovely storyThis is a lovely story that helps children overcome separation anxiety。 Even though it's not specific to death and grief, it is highly recommended in this category。 I got the Kindle version and some of the words overlap one another。 Probably a formatting issue。 There are also pages with just text and no illustrations, which is fine but I was hoping for more bright and colourful illustrations throughout。 The story itself is simple and easy to read and relate to。 I guess I was hoping for a bit more, being so highly recommended。 。。。more

My Tata (grandmother) always called balloons and kites, "Dreams with Strings。" This lovely book reminded me of her story of "Dreams with Strings。"We added her description to our prequel to our Mystery Hunters Series, "The Mystery of the Missing Milk。" "Betty always called kites and balloons, 'Dreams with Strings。' She envisioned all the small children running with their kites and balloons, looking up as their 'Dreams with Strings' lifted them to the heavens。 Betty smiled as she imagined the star My Tata (grandmother) always called balloons and kites, "Dreams with Strings。" This lovely book reminded me of her story of "Dreams with Strings。"We added her description to our prequel to our Mystery Hunters Series, "The Mystery of the Missing Milk。" "Betty always called kites and balloons, 'Dreams with Strings。' She envisioned all the small children running with their kites and balloons, looking up as their 'Dreams with Strings' lifted them to the heavens。 Betty smiled as she imagined the stars grabbing on to each child to dance an interstellar dance, from planet to planet, from galaxy to galaxy, from dream to dream。" I will keep "The Invisible String" in my collection for my future children。 Thank you for reminding me of my beloved grandmother。 "The Invisible String" is a lovely book and I'm sure all children will enjoy this book。 。。。more

Read by teacher in class today as part of children’s mental health awareness week and held a captive audience。 Was lovely to see and hear the children be read to。 Book covered children being connected to each other, their grown up, or pet by invisible string wherever they are in the world

Ellie

I adore the message in this book。 I read it to my prep class on day one, yesterday, and today one of my students told me his brother was missing his mum at recess so he told him about the invisible string and felt better! Gosh children at so beautiful!!!

This book uses the idea of an invisible string to explain the ties that bind us as family and friends。 A timely reas during the 2020-2021 pandemic。

The Invisible String is a book about a mother and her twins。 She teaches them that even though they may be far apart they are always connected by an invisible string that can never be broken。 It is a good book for parents to read to their young children to strengthen the knowledge of the unbreakable bond they will always have。

Super cute kids book! I love the quote: “Even though you can’t see it with your eyes, you can feel it with your heart and know that you are always connected to everyone you love”。 Would be a good gift for a new baby, a kiddo that deals with separation anxiety, or a little one who experienced a loss in the family。

This is a great book for these pandemic times。 It explains how we can be with loved ones even when we are apart。

Wonderful book for all ages!!

A child in my class brought this book in to share with the other children。 His father had recently died and he had used this book as a source of comfort and wanted to share this with the class。 It is such a lovely read and has such a lovely message。 It has helped this child with grief, however did not focus on that。 It could be used in many different scenarios where children are separated from those they love。 What a lovely book!
